Eyes story (spoiler-free)

The Kerala Police launches a trial programme to stop stalking before it turns deadly. Police officers and psychologists team up, building an app called Eyes to assess and rehabilitate people accused of repeatedly stalking and harassing women. Officer Tina Sebastian and Justin are assigned to the team, and the series follows four major cases of stalking and toxic relationships, alongside the personal struggles of the people investigating them.

Eyes review: is it worth watching?

Yes, if you are patient. Critics agree the performances are the big draw: NDTV (3 stars) calls it “a series driven by women” that is “refreshing to watch,” and singles out Jaffer Idukki as menacing; The Hindu praises Nikhila Vimal and Jaffer Idukki but notes seven 50-minute episodes “is a commitment.” Rediff felt the narrative needed a tighter focus. What everyone credits is the message: Eyes treats stalking as obsession and entitlement, not love.

  • Watch it if you liked Uyare or Kerala Crime Files.
  • Skip it if you want a fast-paced whodunit; it takes an episode or two to grip.
