Toxic OTT Release Date: Is Yash’s Film Coming to ZEE5? Latest Update

Is Yash’s Toxic on ZEE5 yet? No. As of October 15, 2026, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups is not streaming anywhere, and neither the makers nor any platform has announced an OTT date. Below we separate what is officially confirmed from what is only being reported, and we will keep this tracker updated.

Toxic OTT status at a glance

What is confirmed

• Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups released in theatres on August 26, 2026.
• It is directed by Geetu Mohandas and produced by KVN Productions, with Yash also co-producing (per Telugu360).
• Cast: Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth.
• No OTT platform or streaming date has been officially announced by the makers or by any platform.
• The widely shared September 25 streaming date did not materialise, and the film was not listed in ZEE5’s official October release calendar (Hindustan Times Telugu).

What is only being reported

None of the figures below has been confirmed by the makers or ZEE5.

• Pre-release offers of about ₹150 crore were reportedly turned down while the makers held out for more (123Telugu, via The Economic Times; Teatime Telugu says the makers expected over ₹200 crore).
• ZEE5 / Zee Studios reportedly offered about ₹30 crore, possibly structured as a ₹15 crore advance plus pay-per-view revenue (Teatime Telugu, Telugu360).
• The deal is reportedly still not closed as of October 14 (Telugu360), with the makers weighing whether to wait for a better offer.
• A re-edited OTT version has been speculated about, with nothing official (Teatime Telugu).

So when will Toxic come to OTT?

Honestly, nobody outside the deal knows. Once a platform signs, Indian films usually get a formal announcement and a promo campaign a week or two before streaming, so if you see a date without an official post from ZEE5 or KVN Productions, treat it as a rumour. Until then, the only way to watch Toxic is in theatres where it is still showing.

Where to watch Yash’s other films

KGF: Chapter 1 and KGF: Chapter 2 stream on Prime Video (per KeralaTV).
